Inviting Opportunity and Creating a Positive Space
Below are a few items to consider for inviting positive energy into your space while also creating an environment that will support and nurture you.
Invite Opportunity to Your Front Door
Make certain your address and your front door can be clearly seen. If you can’t easily find your address or the front door, your visitors (and opportunity) won’t be able to find you either.
Keep the area leading up to and around your front door tidy. Sweep away leaves and other debris, clean the door and any windows, replace lightbulbs if needed, etc.
Add a welcome mat. A welcome mat gives visitors a place to wipe their feet, helps designate the front door of the home (“enter here!”), and sends a great welcoming message.

Arrange Your Furniture to Support You
We’ll focus on the bed in your bedroom and your desk if you have a home office.
Arrange your bed or desk so that you are able to see the door to the room, but you are not directly in line with the door. (You want to be able to see who is entering the room, but not be in line with the door.) Try to have a solid wall behind you to support you, too.
Keep the Energy in Your Home
Some homes may have stairs directly in line with the front door. A general remedy to keep your good energy from rolling out the front door is to hang a faceted crystal between the door and the stairwell. (Tip: If you have a chandelier or other light fixture in the entryway between the stairs and door, you can “camouflage” the crystal by hanging it from the fixture.) Set the crystal with the intention of re-directing or dispersing the energy so that it stays and circulates throughout your home.
